Challenge:
We had to deliver the same level of quality for 100 in-person and 100 virtual delegates, while adhering to Covid-19 protocols. We also had to make provision for potential power interruptions owing to loadshedding and ensure event continuity.
Solution:
This was a high profile event that required careful planning. Event Options delivered an event registration solution that catered for both in person and online guests with a series of communications and mailers covering COVID-19 protocols for those joining in person. We transmitted several reminders with the access link and calendar reminders for those joining virtually.
Benefit:
A hybrid high profile event enabled the client to host delegates from all over the country, and to ensure compliance with venue capacity restrictions.
Result:
When streaming from the Cape Town headquarters special attention was given to power, internet and back up plans. Our team was tasked with managing the dry-runs, production scripts, content preparation, technical production, show calling, stage management, stream management and recording the post event analytics, to a final email of ‘thank you for joining us’.
